How it works, step by step
Ordering custom grillz from Grillz Sydney runs in five steps: enquire, take a mould, sign off your design with a deposit, we cast and finish the piece, then you're fitted. Plain metal takes 5–10 business days in total; gold and stone-set pieces take 10–15 business days. Everything is cast from a mould of your own teeth, so the fit is yours alone.

The five steps
- 01 — Enquire: tell us the teeth, metal and style you want via the form or email, and we'll reply with pricing and options. Usually same or next business day.
- 02 — Mould: we take an impression of your teeth, either at an appointment somewhere across Greater Sydney or using a mould kit posted anywhere in NSW. Allow 1–3 days for a posted kit to arrive and be returned.
- 03 — Deposit & design sign-off: once we've checked the mould, you confirm the final design — metal, shape, stones if any — and pay the deposit before casting begins. Usually settled within a day of the mould being approved.
- 04 — Casting & finishing: your piece is cast, fitted to the model of your mould, polished and, for stone-set pieces, set by hand. 5–10 business days for plain metal; 10–15 business days for gold or stone-set work.
- 05 — Fitting & delivery: we check the fit against your mould and get the finished piece to you, either at a Sydney appointment or posted out. Same week as casting completes.
Do I need to be in Sydney in person?
No. You can take your mould at a Greater Sydney appointment, or use a mould kit posted anywhere in NSW and return it to us by post. Either route feeds into the same casting and fitting process.
How long does the whole process take, start to finish?
Including the mould and deposit stages, most plain-metal orders complete in 5–10 business days once the mould is approved, and gold or stone-set orders in 10–15 business days. A posted mould kit adds a few days for it to travel to and from you.
Deposits and design changes
We take a deposit before casting starts, once your design is signed off against the mould — this covers the metal and setting work committed at that point. Changes to metal, coverage or stones are easiest before the deposit is taken; once casting is underway, changes mean a new mould and a new order.
